Rainat Komolafe grew up in an entrepreneurial family and began trading at a young age. Although her first attempt was unsuccessful, she persevered. Her family’s experiences, combined with her own, have significantly contributed to her success in the business world.

She is a self-taught brand identity, website, and package designer, having acquired these skills while studying in the United States. Rainat is deeply passionate about design and its impact on a successful brand. She believes that the right combination of colors, patterns, and fonts can greatly enhance a brand’s visual appeal.

In 2015, she founded her first business, Babies Essence, which offered specialized baby-planning services such as personal shopping, baby registry, baby shower planning, and consulting. Upon returning to Nigeria, she rebranded the business to cater to a new audience and expanded it into three segments: Stitches, Treats, and Books.

In 2017, Rainat launched an online bakery offering delicious donuts, cinnamon rolls, and brownies. To meet the demand from followers who couldn’t access her treats due to location barriers, she introduced Nigeria’s first Donut and Brownie mix in 2018 and launched Mix and Treats, a unique baking mix brand.

In 2019, she started Rayor, a handbag and shoe brand producing timeless pieces from authentic leather. She also expanded into selling exquisite jewelry.

As a children’s author, Rainat has written three books for babies and kids. The first book is “A-Z Positive Affirmations for Kids,” accompanied by a Positive Affirmations Workbook to help children boost their confidence and find their voice. She also created “Baby’s First Year Book,” designed to help parents and guardians record the tender moments of their baby’s early life, complete with milestone stickers.

Through the Rainat Komolafe Foundation, she is making a positive impact, changing lives one at a time.

In her personal life, Rainat enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and playing basketball.
